About Our attorney

Ethan Baker is a lifelong resident of Galveston County, utilizing his experience to help fellow residents overcome their legal hurdles. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science, with a minor in Business, from Texas A&M University, graduating Cum Laude in 2004. He then pursued his legal education at South Texas College of Law, earning his Juris Doctor in May 2008, where he was recognized on the Dean’s Honor List.

Admitted to the State Bar of Texas in November 2008, Ethan Baker began his legal career as an Assistant Criminal District Attorney at the Galveston County District Attorney’s Office. There, he prosecuted a range of crimes and honed his litigation skills, acting as lead counsel in numerous jury and bench trials.

In 2011, he joined the firm of Bettison Doyle Apffel & Guarino P.C., where he specialized in Real Estate, Banking, and Estate Planning/Probate Law. Acting as counsel for an independent Texas title company and a state bank with over 20 branches across Southeast Texas, he played a pivotal role in handling every aspect of real estate and corporate transactions, and gained a wealth of knowledge representing individuals and corporate clients in countless high-value deals.

In 2021, Ethan formed The Law Office of Ethan Baker, PLLC located in Friendswood, Texas. Through The Law Office of Ethan Baker, PLLC, he continues his legacy of service and outstanding legal representation to the citizens of Galveston County, Harris County, Brazoria County, and the surrounding areas.
